Call for application for scholarship to the students of Spanish at IGNOU

The Universidad de Santiago de Compostela-(Spain), hereinafter referred to as USC, Spain, through its Vice-Chancellor’s Office for External Relations and Internationalization calls for application for one (1) scholarship to the students of Spanish of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU, New Delhi) to carry out studies at the USC, Spain and to undertake tasks related to international expansion of the USC and managing international cooperation projects within the framework of mobility programmes under its plan Campus Venida (Plan4.1). The purpose of this grant is to initiate academic collaboration between USC (Spain) and IGNOU (India) and to promote teaching & learning of Spanish studies at IGNOU.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: * GRANT 2* for IGNOU: Fluency in English and Spanish, knowledge of Hindi.

BENEFICIARIES: * Recipients of grants 2* are the students of Indian nationality of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).

DURATION: Maximum duration of 12 months.

AMOUNT: All grant to be paid by USC, Spain: Gross scholarship of 700 euros monthly. In addition, the beneficiaries will be entitled for total exemption of the course fee (official registration fee) for any of the official courses at USC, Spain chosen by the beneficiaries and medical insurance. Travel grant (international return air-fare) is not included. The beneficiaries will have to do an internship (practicum), max. 05 hours daily, at the International Office of USC, Spain.

Selection procedures shall be guided by the norms established by the Selection Committee of USC, Spain. Final decision in this regard rests with the USC, Spain.
